
FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria Plc has announced the appointment of Yinka Sanni as Chairman of the Board of Directors, following the retirement of Moyo Ajekigbe, who has led the board with distinction since 2010.
Under Ajekigbe’s visionary leadership, the company experienced significant growth, launched transformative dairy development initiatives, and strengthened its market position across Nigeria’s dairy industry.
Sanni, a seasoned executive with over 35 years in financial services, brings a wealth of experience to the board. He has held top leadership roles at Standard Bank Group and Stanbic IBTC Holdings Plc, with expertise spanning retail and wholesale banking, asset management, and corporate strategy.
In his farewell remarks, Ajekigbe reflected:
“Leading FrieslandCampina WAMCO Nigeria has been a remarkable honour. I’m confident that Yinka Sanni will build on our foundation and elevate the company to new heights.”
Accepting the role, Sanni noted:
