….as Charter President Teniola Ogundeji Concludes Founding Tenure

The Rotary Club of Ikeja Golden Impact has successfully concluded a historic chapter with the official handover ceremony of its Charter President, Rtn. Teniola Ogundeji, marking the end of the club’s founding administration following its charter on 8 January 2025.

During her tenure, Ogundeji led the establishment of the club’s governance structure, membership systems, fellowship programmes, and community service initiatives, laying a strong foundation for sustainable growth and long-term impact.

Reflecting on the journey, she described the experience as one of service, collaboration, and institution building.

“Leadership is not about being the first; it is about building something strong enough for others to continue. As Charter President, my greatest achievement is not simply serving two term in office but helping establish a club that will continue transforming lives for generations to come.”

Under her leadership, the Rotary Club of Ikeja Golden Impact implemented several impactful initiatives, including youth and digital skills empowerment programmes, health awareness and medical outreach, environmental sanitation projects, peacebuilding initiatives, joint fellowship programmes, and active participation in Rotary District 9111 activities.

As the club begins a new Rotary year under the global theme, “Create Lasting Impact,” Ogundeji expressed confidence in the incoming leadership and encouraged members to continue building on the strong foundation established during the Charter Administration.

Beyond Rotary, Ogundeji continues to expand her work as an entrepreneur and international business leader. She is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kairos World Travels, a Nigeria-based travel management company specializing in corporate travel, MICE, visa advisory, and international group travel.

Teniola Ogundeji will continue to represent Nigeria and engage with global partners through several international platforms, including serving as Vice Chairman of the Rotary Global Friendship Exchange, participating in international business events, and strengthening partnerships that promote tourism, trade, and investment between Africa and the rest of the world.

Her vision remains centered on creating practical solutions that connect people, businesses, and opportunities across borders while inspiring more Africans to live purposefully and engage globally.

As one chapter closes, another begins—one defined by greater collaboration, broader impact, and a commitment to building lasting institutions that serve communities across Africa and beyond.
