Alhaji Yahaya Ezonbodoh Okee, the Acting Chairman Muslim community in Bayelsa State, on behalf of the Imams, Scholars, Alfas and the Muslims in the State, has congratulated the Governor of Bayelsa State, Senator Douye Diri, on the occasion of his 67th birthday celebration, describing him as a progressive and inclusive leader whose administration has continued to record remarkable achievements.
Alhaji Okee, praised Senator Diri for providing purposeful leadership that has fostered peace, unity and coexistence amongst the Muslims and Bayesians at large.
He Further noted that His Excellency’s people-oriented projects reflect the aspirations of the State founding fathers
According to him the prosperity administration has demonstrated commitment to the development and support for the Muslim Ummahs in their annual festivals, appointments and care regardless of where you come from or the faith you belong to. He also commended the governor’s focus on ASSURED PROSPERITY AGENDA, which position Bayelsa State on top in terms of performance across the nation.
The acting chairman also lauded Governor Diri’s investment drive, which he said has attracted both local and foreign investors in key sectors, including oil and gas, agriculture, tourism, transportation and education.
Reaffirming the support of Muslim community for the Bayelsa governor, the Acting Chairman prayed for continued divine wisdom and grace for him to sustain good governance and further unite the state.
He wished Governor Diri a happy 67th birthday anniversary and assured him of his unwavering support in keeping peace, uniting and maintaining harmony among the Muslim society.
