Warri: Shock as Christ Embassy moves to sell member’s family house

Nigerians have reacted with outrage as a Pentecostal church, Christ Embassy, allegedly assembled a team of lawyers to value and seek a family house donated by a member for N25 million.

Reports said the member simply identified as Shedrack relocated from a foreign country back to Nigeria and became more devoted to church activities.

He was said to have donated his car to the church, but family members didn’t raise any objection.

However, they were surprised to see some men inspecting the property some days ago.

When accosted, the men said they were sent by the church to value the property and put it up for sale after it was donated as a “seed” by Shedrack.

Sources said the house was valued at N25m.

The house was built by Shedrack and other family members and has some sitting tenants.

Family members said they contacted officials of the church, who promised to investigate the matter but failed to do anything about it.
