United States President Donald Trump on Saturday said he had taken a Coronavirus test, a day after the White House Saud he would not do so.
Speaking at a press conference in the White House, Trump said he was expecting the results and was in high spirits.
He had come under pressure to take the test after some aides of Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro tested positive for Coronavirus, days after meeting with Trump in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
Trump said he might extend the travel ban on flights from Europe to domestic routes, noting that people should shelve non-essential trips.
He said it was okay for retail shops to close and advised Americans to take necessary precautions against the novel virus.
Bolsonaro had taken a test after returning home but it was negative.
