Tinubu’s wet bum video puts presidential bid in jeopardy

The presidential bid of All Progressives Congress chieftain, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, may be jeopardised by a video of his wet bum during a visit to the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, on Sunday.

Clad in an orange flowing gown aka babanriga with a matching jumper and brown cap, Tinubu’s wet bum was captured in the clip when he stood up to greet the monarch.

He was on a visit to four top monarchs in Ogun State.

As seen in the clip, Tinubu had stood up to greet the revered Yoruba monarch not knowing that his bum was drenched in what many claimed to be urine.

Some commentators said it was suspected that he may be suffering from enuresis while others said it may have been due to heat from the leather sofa on which he was sitting.

Commentators on social media urged the APC leader to drop his bid and go and take a rest.

They said recent reports about his state of health indicated that he may not be fit enough for the office of Nigeria’s president.

They said it was wrong for the nation to be saddled with another ailing president after Buhari’s exit in May 2023.

Buhari has visited foreign nations, esoexiespe Britain, for medical treatment on a number of ocaoccasi during his presidency.

One of his security aides was seen staring at the wet portion of his flowing babanraiga, in what appeared to strengthen speculations about the nature of the wetness.

However, some support groups pushing the presidential bid have risen to his defence.

They described the viral video as the handiwork of mischief–makers.

They said it was possible that the clip was a Photoshop intended to ridicule the former governor.

Sometime last year, Tinubu almost lost his balance during a visit to Kano.

In recent times, he is beoibelito have sought medical treatment abroad although his aides constantly said it was nothing unusual.
