Thousands stranded as police block Lagos-Ibadan Expressway

Thousands of road users were stranded on Wednesday night as the Nigeria Police blocked the entry to the long bridge on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The action of the police was to enforce the overnight curfew declared by President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday.

Buhari has declared that there would be a curfew from 8pm to 6am from Monday, as part of efforts to computer the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Lagos State Police Command if the Nigeria Police teeetedbaoicture, under which it added a caption: “Lagos/Ibadan Expressway completely blocked at Opic. Movement commences at 6:00am.”
