Tekno fires back at critics: Just leave me alone

A week after landing in hot water for displaying half-nude girls dancing in a glass display truck, Nigerian pop artiste, Tekno, has lashed out at his critics.

Tekno attracted widespread criticism after a female motorist captured his dancers on her phone and uploaded it on the internet.

The truck was captured around the Lekki Expressway tollgate.

He and his producer were later arrested b the Lagos State Police Command and released after the artiste feigned illness.

Tekno, whose real name is Augustine Miles Kelechi, also drew the ire of the Federal Government when the Director-General of the Nigerian Council of Arts and Culture, Segun Runsewe, vowed that he would be severely dealt with and made a “scapegoat” for debasing African values.

However, in the Instagram video, an obviously flustered Tekno took to the keyboard with a short song in which he declared: “I’m a deal man. Just leave me alone.”
