Super cool, ACP Abba Kyari, on Wednesday said his greatest achievement remains the capture of one of Nigeria’s deadliest armed robbers, Abiodun Egunjobi aka Godogodo.
Posting on Facebook with a picture of him being thrown in the air by jubilant Nigerians, the super cop wrote: “August 2013. Celebrating the arrest of Godogodo, the most notorious armed robbers in Southwestern Nigeria. Responsible for the deaths of over 300 innocent Nigerians. Recovery of 42 AK-47 rifles, GPMGs and RPGs. I feel this remains my greatest achievement so far.”
Kyari, who heads the IG’s Intelligence Response Team, has also been responsible for heroic exploits such as the arrest of billionaire alleged kidnap kingpin, Evans Chukwudumeje, the destruction of the Badoo gang of cultists in Lagos State and the rescue of a number of kidnap victims, including the district head of President Muhammadu Buhari’s hometown.
He was also instrumental to the arrest of alleged kidnap kingpin, Ali Hamisu aka Wadume, from where he fled to in Kano after soldiers rescued him from IRT policemen and killed three of them.
