Africa’s only surviving Nobel Laureate Prof Wole Soyinka on Saturday warned Ugandan dictator, Yoweri Museveni to get ready to go to jail.
Soyinka also warned Museveni, who rigged his nation’s recent presidential election to snatch a sixth term in office, to avoid hurting his main challenger, Bobi Wine, and his family.
The election has been globally condemned even as Museveni refused to allow foreign observers to monitor polling.
“Through every available medium, Museveni should be reminded that he will be held personally responsible for the safety of Bobi Wine, his family and supporters.
Africa has transcended the Age of Impunity. We know it still takes a while in far too many cases but Museveni should take a good look round the continent.
Where are the many of his co-bullies of yesteryears?
The wheels of justice tribe slowly but they arrive.”
