Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, on Thursday lifted restrictions on religious worship to enable residents of the state to observe the Easter.

Wike, in a statewide broadcast, said Muslims would be allowed to hold Jumat services on Friday April 10, 2020 and Christians on Easter Sunday.

He, however, maintained the closure of bars and other relaxation centres as well as movement within the state.
