Priscilla Ojong likely kidnapped – Father, friends

Social media friends and father of an undergraduate of Cross River State University, Calabar, Ms. Priscilla Ojong, have called on security agents to rescue her from suspected kidnappers.

They made the comments on Sunday night after she released another video, the second since she was declared missing on Friday.

The 300-level Mass Communication undergraduate was said to have travelled to Lagos three weeks ago to visit an unnàned male friend and had since then been unreachable.

However, she appeared on a video on Saturday in which she claimed to be in Calabar.

In the video, she claimed that her phone had a problem and that caused her to be unreachable.

However, in the second video, she appeared to be visibly terrified.

Dressed in an orange blouse and sitting in the back seat of a car while being driven in an unknown location, she repeated the story about her phone.

She added a twist, saying she got depressed and wanted to commit suicide by drinking bleach.

She said she intentionally switched off her phone but was in constant communication with her mother on another line.

She also appeared to be trying to pass a message with her hand gestures.

In an interview with Cross River Watch TV, her father who identified himself as Mr. Ernest Ojong, said the number being used to record the videos was covered.

He says he last contacted his daughter in April via a text message.

He insisted that she was missing and called on security agencies to help rescue his daughter.
