Nigerians have taken to Twitter to mock the former Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, over a video of how he was rigged out at the All Progressives Congress primaries for Ajingi, Albasu, Gaya Federal Constituency.

Ahmad had posted the video on Sunday, which he claimed was part of evidence of rigging during the primaries he lost to the incumbent, Abdullahi Mahmud Gaya.

Bashir scored 16 votes against Gaya’s 109.

He vowed to pursue legal means to reclaim his “mandate” and contest in the 2023 elections.

His tweet reads: “Just a glimpse of what happened during the so-called primaries in my constituency. Scoring a single vote must have even been a miracle. There are much more to what was seen here. Exploring all the possible and legal ways to reclaim our mandate.”

In the video, an unidentified party official was seen writing on sheet of paper before handing over to a delegate.

It is believed that he wrote the name of a preferred contestant on a piece of paper before handing over to a delegate to dump in a nearby bucket used as a ballot box

Many respondents three java at him over the video and advised him to bear the loss
