2023 presidency: APC considers consensus arrangement

All Progressives Congress is said to be considering a consensus arrangement for the selection of its 2023 presidential candidate.

Sources in the party said this was to avoid a crowded field in the run-up to the election.

Consequently, two top gladiators – Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo and APC National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu – are to meet to discuss the issue.

Though there had been rumours that they had fallen apart, a presidential aide, Babafemi Ojudu, had debunked such.

He said though Osinbajo didn’t visit Tinubu throughout his medical vacation in London, they were in touch.

There were no comments from their respective camps on Wednesday.
