Police flee as Benionoise terrorists invade Lagos communities

Three communities in Ojo area of Lagos State were shut down by invading terrorists from Republic of Benin on Tuesday morning.

Metrostarng learnt that the terrorists invaded houses in Viniger and Abule Ado areas of the state, shooting at residents and looting homes, shops and trucks.

Victims were left in a pool of their own blood while businesses and banks were forced to close down.

The terrorists also set bonfires on major roads.

Policemen who were drafted to the scene fled when they noticed the superior firepower.

Residents died to nearby Festac Town.

The terrorists, who have a base at Oguntade’ village on Old Ojo Road, forcefully demanded money from their victims.

Some injured truck drivers said the criminals shot those of them who refused to give them money.

Some truck drivers said the terrorists had been causing mayhem around Viniger, Abule Ado and Mile 2.

There were no comments from the spokesman for the state police command, DSP Bala Elkanah.
