Paternity scandal: FCMB MD, Adam Nuru, proceeds on ‘forced leave’

Embattled Managing Director of FCMB Plc, Adam Nuru, on Tuesday proceeded on a ‘forced leave’ as the paternity scandal around him worsened.

The bank MD had been accused of gathering two children by a married former employee of the bank, Mrs. Moyo Thomas,.

Her husband was said to have discovered the development after Moyo took the children to the United States and refused to bring them back home.

She was said to have told him that the children were not his, a situation that allegedly pushed him into a stroke.

He died after suffering a heart attack in December 2020.

The panel probing the issue recommended Adams’ temporary exit from the bank to allow for an unfettered investigation.
