Divers began searching for bodies of the driver and passengers of a commuter bus that plunges into Ososa River on the inward Ore side of Sagamu-Ore Expressway around 4.30pm on Wednesday.
The bus was heading from Sagamu to Ijebu Ode when the driver tried to overtake another vehicle and suffered a burst tyre.
The driver lost control of the bus and it plunged into the river.
It was the second time a vehicle would plunge into the same side of the river under one week.
The black Honda Civic car of an employee of Tai Solarin College of Education, Ijebu Ode had crashed into the river on Saturday.
Spokesperson for Ogun State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Route Commander Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident.
She said the corps was working in conjunction with the divers to recover the bus and passengers.
She said the recovery was being hampered by the swelling waters caused by heavy rains.
FRSC urged motorists to be made ndful if the ongoing reconstruction of the road.
It urged the construction firm, RCC, to restore railings and illuminated warning signs on the bridges along the expressway.
The TASUED employee was buried beside the river on Monday according to Islamic rites.
