Two struggling sides honors MatchDay 13 encounter at the Teslim Balogun stadium in Surulere between MFM and Katsina United. Both teams have so much to play for to survival relegation this season.

The snoozefest was edging for a draw when Tunde Azeez popped up with only important goal.

He was introduced in place of Ritchie Eguaoven, and barely seven minutes after, had the substitute grabbed the headline with a well taken strike.

The 24-year-old had received a pass from Moses Shodehinde in the 81st minute to fire into the back of the net. It was a game changing effort that ensured his side picked their first win in 8 games and third of the season.

“I feel so glad and excited for the maximum three points. I dedicate the goal to the team, Dr. D.K Olukoya and my family for their support.”

The Midfielder has now been involved in the last two goals for MFM with a goal and assist.

Katsina United did little to get back into the game as MFM sealed all three points and moves to 19th on the log with ten points. They will hope to take the momentum into their next game against Enyimba in Aba.

The Changi Boys meanwhile dropped to 17th with 13 points and up next for them is a home game against Heartland.
