NNPC begs tanker drivers to drop strike, offers to fix bad roads




Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation on Sunday begged tanker drivers to shelve their strike fixed for Monday October 11, 2021.

NNPC in a statement by its Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Garba Deen Muhammad, urged the tanker drivers to drop the strike as it would adversely affect the economy.

It offered to invest in the recinatrreconsof roads as part of the Federal Government’s Road Infrastructure Development and Refurbishment Tax Credit Scheme.

It urged the drivers to consider the larger interest of Nigerians and allow efforts by relevant government agencies to amekioamel the situation.
