Enugu community nominates Buhari’s spokesman for chieftaincy title

The people of Aguneese have nominated the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, for a chieftaincy title.

The award was presented to Adesina on Tuesday at his office in State House, Abuja by a delegation from Agunesee led by Igwe Omeluenyi 1 of Aguneese, Ezeani III of Nmaku Kingdom in Enugu State, Igwe Cyprian Nevobasi.

If he accepts the nomination, Adesina will be conferred with the title as part of the forthcoming Igwe Ofala festival next month in the town.

The festival will mark the monarch’s 14 years on the throne

He commended Adesina for doing a “good work” in the cabinet if Buhari, whom he described as “Godsent.”

The monarch was accompanied by a former member of the House of Representatives, Hon. USA Igwesi and Chief Emmanuel Okeke.

Adesina, who said he was “short of words,” thanked the monarch for the honour.
