New Zealand ‘eliminates’ Coronavirus

New Zealand on Monday said it had finally ‘eliminated’ Coronavirus as its cases dropped sharply to single digits.

Ashley Bloomfield, New Zealand’s director-general of Health, told a press conference that it had “one new case,” “four probable cases” and one new death, CNN reports.

The DG said the situation had dropped from Category Four to Category Three.

New Zealand’s Prime Minister, Jacinda Arden, said that currently, the nation had eliminated Coronavirus but there was still the need to remain vigilant.
