
Crowds of lagosians on Wednesday booed the Inspector-General of Police, Nuru Alkali Baba, for blocking vehicular movement on some roads ahead of President Muhammadu Buhari’s visit to the state.
The police chief had landed in Lagos to personally supervise security arrangements for Buhari, who is due in the state on Thursday to inaugurate the Mobolaji Johnson railway terminal at Ebute Meta.
As the IG’s convoy drive through the Anthony Village slip road inward Ikorodu Road, onlookers booed him.
They rained abuses on him such as “Thief,” “You will not do well.”
