The creator of globally-acclaimed Indomie noodles, Mrs. Nunuk Nuraini, has died in her native country, Indonesia.
Her passing was announced on Twitter on Friday morning by a handle @gustirapi.
It reads: “We just lost Mrs. Nunuk Nuraini, the genius flavor developer of people’s beloved instant noodles ‘Indomie’ today. May her soul rest in love and her legacies will definitely forever live on. you are truly a legend for indonesians.”
Reports said she died on Wednesday aged 59.
She was the brand’s flavour development manager for almost 30 years and was the creator of many flavours.
