George Floyd: Trump flees to underground bunker as riots escalate




United States President Donald Trump on Sunday relocated to the underground bunker of the White House as protests against the killing of an unarmed Black man, George Floyd, by a policeman spread across the country.

Thousands of protesters of different races marched on the White House demanding justice and an end to the killing of Blacks by police officers.

CNN reports that Trump’s bodyguard swiftly.mived him to safety for fear that the fence of the White House could be be breached.

Trump had faced heavy criticism for allegedly inciting violence with some tweets.

Protesters poured out into the streets of many U.S cities and fought kitchens Varghese with the police.

Curfews were declared in Los Angeles, New York and many other cities.

A police patrol car was surrounded in New York and set ablaze.
