FirstBank plans FinTech summit





Top African banking institution, FirstBank, on Monday announced that it would hold an online FinTech summit designed to boost innovation in the digital space.

It said in a statement: “In line with our commitment to continue to champion innovation within the digital space, we are hosting the fourth edition of the FirstBank FinTech Summit aimed at sharing knowledge on how digital innovations benefit banking, insurance, finance and value creation across the spectrum of financial value chains.

The FinTech Summit convenes the finest and most innovative top-level experts at the forefront of digital innovations both locally and internationally.

This edition will provide a futuristic view of financial services as a result of the impact of technological advancements.”

Keynote speakers at the event, which begins at noon, are an entrepreneur, Chinedu Echeruo, and Jimoh Musa Itopa, Director, Payments System Management Department, Central Bank of Nigeria.
