After about 180 days in prison custody, journalist and human rights activist, Agba Jalingo, was on Monday bday released after fulfilling his ba conditions.
A Federal High Court in Calabar had last week granted him bail even as the Cross River State Government Saud it was taking over his prosecution from the Federal Government.
The state government said he would be charged with terrorism and attempting to overthrow the state administration.
Jalingo was arrested over a news article in his website.
Though the state government denied it was holding him, sustained pressure forced it to back down.
