Enyimba Claims First Victory in Super Six

Enyimba claims all three points in a 1-0 win over Rangers in tightly contested game at the Agege Stadium on Tuesday at the Soccer Temple.
The first half involved both team going at each other, created numerous chances but couldn’t convert in the end as Fans tagged the it ‘boring’.
The second half came alive in the 50 minutes when the People’s Elephant take the lead through Joseph Osadiaye, off a through long ball from Ibrahim Mustapha.
Rangers had their chance, Ibrahim Ajani goes on a mazy run before slipping the ball to Ifeanyi George who miscues his effort in the 74 minutes.
In the end, Rangers had another attempt to equalise. Ifeanyi George’s well struck free kick is punched away to safety by Enyimba GK Afelokhai as Referee signals for full time.
Enyimba next game will be against Kano Pillars on Thursday.
