Kwara State Governor, Abdul Fatah Ahmed, on Thursday approved scholarships for 195 indigenes if the state.
This was contained in a statement issued by the state government.
It reads: “The International Vocational, Technical & Entrepreneurship College (IVTEC), Ajase-Ipo, Kwara State is pleased to announce the opening of admissions for Special Certificate Programmes for the 2017/2018 Academic Session. These short-term programmes are specifically designed for The Youth Empowerment and Social Support Operation (YESSO) Scheme.
“The Kwara State Governor, Alhaji (Dr.) Abdulfatah Ahmed has approved FULL scholarship for 195 candidates to be selected from the 16 local government areas of the State for the inaugural Special Certificate Programmes.
“The candidates would be drawn from the existing YESSO List developed by the World Bank. IVTEC has published the names of shortlisted candidates on their website.”
