Nine passengers of an intra-city commercial bus were on Tuesday morning crushed to death by a heavy-duty truck in Benin, the Edo State capital.

The sand-conveying truck, which had brake failure, suddenly rammed into the moving commercial bus, fondly called Tuke-Tuke, killing the nine passengers on the spot before hitting another truck towards the Government Reservation Area (GRA).
