Flamboyant Publisher of Ovation International magazine, Bashoein Dele Momodu, on Wednesday allayed fears about his health status, following his attendance at the 80th birthday of Nigeria’s High Commissioner to United Kingdom, Retired Justice George Oguntade, on March 10, 2020 in London.

There had been reports that since the grand party attended by prominent Nigerians, one of the guests hard died of Coronavirus while two others were battling for life.

While expressing condolences with the family of the deceased, the publisher said he had been advised by health officials in Lagos State that since he had observed the mandatory 14 days self-isolation advised for persons who had come in contact with infected persons and had not suffered any symptoms, there was no need to fear.

He, however, urged all those who had physical contact with him to observe self-isolation and go for a test, if possible.

He urged Nigerians to be wary of “misinformation” on the virus.
