Nigeria recorded 11 deaths from COVID-19 on Wednesday, the highest in one day.
Same day, the nation’s infection rate hit a record high of 196, sparking fears that the situation may be getting out of hand as Nigeria prepares to ease lockdowns in Lagos and Ogun states as well as the Federal Capital Territory.
Asst Wednesday, the disease had hit 34 states and FCT, leaving Cross River and Kogi.
