COVID-19: Ogun moves lockdown to weekends

Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun on Thursday said the lockdown imposed by the state government had been shifted to Saturdays and Sundays.

Speaking to reporters in his office in the state capital, Abeokuta, the governing said the new phase would begin on Monday June 1.

He also said the curfew imposed by President Muhammadu Buhari last month would remain in place.

He urged that people to remain cautious over the menace of the novel Coronavirus.
