Grace and Truth Church, Lagos on Tuesday gave out rice to needy members of the assembly, as part of its efforts to cushion the effects of the COVID-19 lockdown in Lagos and Ogun states on its members.
The sharing of the palliative, which was done at the church’s campground in Wasimi, Ogun State, was supervised by the Pastor, Rev. John Nyamadi.
The gifts were distributed through leaders of house fellowships to members in Lagos and Ogun states.
It should be noted that over the years, the church has maintained a welfare scheme through which members receive assistance to solve various challenges.
The church, also known as the Christian Ministry of Reconciliation, is expected to mark its 47th Anniversary later this year.
The church, whose motto is ‘Faith In Action,’ has maintained contact with its members through WhatsApp since the suspension of services ordered by the Federal Government to curtail the spread of the novel Coronavirus.
This is to ensure constant spiritual nourishment and guidance.
