COVID-19: Again, Kano posts highest figures as Nigeria’s cases hit 2000

For the second day running, Kano posted the highest COVID-19 figures in Nigeria as the nation hit over 2000 cases.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control started on Friday night that the nation’s taly had reached 2170 across 34 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The number of deaths hit 68, up from 58 on Thursday night.

Interestingly, the number of persons discharged rose to 351, giving a boost to Nigeria’s fight against the pandemic.
