Coronavirus: Nigeria heads to 5000 cases

Nigeria is heading to 5000 cases of Coronavirus infections, which is one-fifth of Africa’s current figure of 71,845.

Figures released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday night indicated that Africa’s most populous nation had hit 4,971 cases with 164 deaths.

The cheering news, however, is that the number discharged so far is 1,070 patients, representing one-fifth of the nation’s total number of infections.
