Coronavirus: NCDC reports 288 positive cases, seventh death

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Thursday reported that the nation’s Coronavirus cases had risen to 288 with a fresh death.

The death was recorded in Delta State where its index case succumbed to the virus.

The frontline Coronavirus agency however clarified some figures released earlier.

NCDC’s tweets read: “Fourteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 13 in Lagos and 1 in Delta State

As at 09:30 pm 9th April there are 288 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Fifty-one have been discharged with seven deaths.
