Coronavirus: Ganduje imposes lockdown on Kano

Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has announced a total lockdown of the state for seven days.

Ganduje said on Tuesday at a news conference that the lockdown takes effect from Thursday, 10,00pm.

Emergency Digest reports that Kano on Tuesday recorded additional one COVID-19 case in the state.

With this the total number of positive coronavirus case in the state now stands at four.

The governor appealed to residents to intensify prayers to end the pandemic.
