Coronavirus: Dangote Refinery worker tests negative

An Indian assistant pipe fitter with Dangote Refinery has tested negative to the novel Coronavirus.

The news was broken by the Lagos State Ministry.of Health on Twitter on Tuesday night

It said the Indian wasadmittedto it’s facility at Mainland Hospital in Yaba Lagos on Monday night but later tested negative.

It reads: “An Indian national that was admitted in our facility yesterday night with symptoms suggestive of #COVID19 has tested negative to #COVID19.

“He is doing perfectly well in our isolation unit. His case will be reviewed in the morning.”

The Indian had come into Nigeria from Mumbai, India through Cairo, Egypt on March 12, 2020 and exhibited symptoms that suggested Coronavirus.

He was quarantined at the refinery’s clinic and later transferred to the hospital.
