Coronavirus: Air Peace’s medical supplies flight heads from China to Nigeria


An Air Peace Airlines flight on Tuesday night departed Beijing International Airport in China with medical supplies on a 15-hour nonstop flight to Nigeria.

The supplies were donated by the Chinese government to Nigeria to help combat the novel Coronavirus.

The airlines in a tweet said: “#COVID19 – Loading of Federal Government’s medical supplies onto Air Peace Boeing 777-200ER aircraft in progress now at the Beijing International Airport, China. The aircraft which landed China this afternoon (2:18pm) will be departing for Abuja, Nigeria in less than 20mins (departing 23:35pm). Time for another 15hrs nonstop flight. All six-man crew are Nigerians.
