Coronavirus: Abiodun drops plan to scrap free movement days days

Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has dropped a plan to scrap days of free movement during the extended lockdown of the state.

In a statement On Friday, he also declared that citizens of the state must wear face masks whenever they leave their homes.

The governor maintained the seven hours of free movement within the state as observed during the first two weeks of lockdown.

It reads: “#OGUNSTATE

BREAKING: Extension of COVID-19 Lockdown reconsideration

Saturday, 18th—- Total lockdown
Sunday, 19th—- Total lockdown
Monday, 20th—- Movement (7am to 2pm)
Tuesday, 21st—- Total lockdown
Wednesday, 22nd—-Movement (7am to 2pm)
Thursday, 23rd—- Total lockdown.
Friday, 24th—- Movement (7am to 2pm)

*NOTE* : Every citizen must go out with a face mask on.”
