The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammed, on Monday resigned on health ground.
Born December 31, 1953, he served as a Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria since 2005 and the Chief Justice of Nigeria since 2019.
He was formerly a Justice of the Nigerian Courts of Appeal.
He had recently been embroiled in a feud with Justices of the Supreme Court over some financial issues and alleged neglect.
