For the second time in less than a week, Boko Haram terrorists on Sunday morning attacked the convoy of Borno State Governor, Umaru Zulum, between Baga and Maiduguri.

The convoy was attacked on Friday and claimed 30 lives.

Sunday’s attack occured two kilometres away from Baga although no life was lost.

The bullets from the terrorists shattered the windscreens and tyres of some of the vehicles in the convoy and injured a soldier manning a gun truck.

One of the affected vehicles was the bus of the Governor’s Office Press Crew, which had its glasses shattered by the gunshots.
