Apprehension as Nigeria crosses 5000 COVID-19 cases

Apprehension is growing over Nigeria’s rising number of COVID-19 patients even as the nation jumped to 5162 cases.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control said on Thursday night that Lagos and Kano were running almost neck to neck in the number of cases.

The figures below indicate that there were 193 new cases of #COVID19 on Thursday and the breakdown is as follows:
