It was a sad day for Nigerians as the Inspector-General of Police’s Intelligence Response Team lost Inspector Mohammed Hassan Ali in an ambush by kidnappers in Giwa village of Kaduna State.
The incident took place on Saturday around 3pm while the IRT officers were on a special assignment.
His colleagues repelled the atack and gunned down three of the suspected kidnappers.
He was buried the following day according to Islamic rites.
