Widespread anger is trailing Monday’s fresh attack on Nigerians and Nigerian businesses in South Africa by barbaric mobs.
Despite the presence of policemen, the black thugs descended on Nigerian businesses in parts of Pretoria and Johannesburg.
Global condemnation trailed the attacks as people blamed South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa, for deliberately allowing the violence to spiral out of control.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian High Commission in Pretoria reportedly shut its doors to Nigerians who trooped there to register their displeasure at the attacks.
The development has raised fears among Nigerians.
Nigeria currently doesn’t have a high commissioner to South Africa.
Regional leaders are meeting to discuss the fresh spate of attacks as a way to prevent the crisis from disrupting multilateral ties.
