Belgian international tests positive for Coronavirus

Belgian international and Shandong Luneng Football Club of China footballer, Marouane Fellaini, on Sunday said he had tested positive for Coronavirus.

Speaking on his Twitter handle, he said; “Dear friends, I have been tested for coronavirus and my test result is positive. Thanks to the fans, medical staff and the club for their care and attention. I will follow the treatment and hope to return to the game as soon as possible. Please everyone stay safe.❤️❤️❤️”

Fellaini has been capped 48 times in the Belgian national team and was born on November 22, 1987.

His tweet attracted thousands of comments, likes and retweets within hours as many wished him quick recovery.
