Three protesters and a policeman were feared killed on Monday as Sagamu in Ogun State boiled for the second day running over Saturdays killing of a defender and assistant captain of Remo Stars Football Club Kazeem Tiamiyu aka Kaka by a policeman attached to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.

Policemen moved in violently to break the protest, using live bullets and teargas.

The situation degenerated with the killings of three protesters while a policeman was rumoured to have also died.

Governor Dapo Abiodun had earlier condemned Saturday’s killing and ordered the prosecution of the killer policeman.
