President Muhammadu Buhari and Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo are among personalities attending the National Caucus meeting of the All Progressives Congress at the State House.
Also present are the Senate President, Dr. Ahmed Lawan; Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, governors, former governors of Lagos and Osun states, Bola Tinubu and Adebisi Akabde respectively, serving governors and other leaders of the party.
The National Executive Council meeting is scheduled for Friday.
A vote of confidence is likely to be passed on Oshiomhole, who has been embroiled in various battles with top members of the party.
A decision will also be taken to fill vacant positions in the national executive while the suspension of Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, and a former governor of Ogun State, Ibikunle Amosun,may be reviewed at the NEC meeting.
The meetings were hurriedly fixed after the Director-General of the Progressive Governors Forum, Salihu Lukman, issued a statement accusing Oshiomhole of running a one-man show.
