The Leadership and Accountability Initiative on Friday invited the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, to a paid tour of Nigerian federal roads.

The letter was signed by its Head of Mission, Nwazuruahi Shield, and Head of Intergovernmental Relations, Kelvin Emmanuel.

They said the invitation was based on the public interest generated by Fashola’s recent statement that Nigerian roads were not “really bad.”

The letter reads in part: “Consequently, the Leader’s and Accountability Initiative wishes to request a date convenient for you and your team to join us in this historic tour.”
