COZA: Daddy Freeze blasts Busola Dakolo’s interviewer

27

Controversial On Air Personality, Ifedayo Olarinde aka Daddy Freeze, has accused the publisher of an online publication, YNaija, Chinedu Ekeke, of being “mischievous” over the rape and sexual abuse saga involving the Senior Pastor of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly Abuja Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.

Ekeke also known as NeduNaija interviewed Mrs. Busola Dakolo, the wife of artiste Timi Dakolo, during which she accused Fatoyinbo of raping her in her parents’ home in Ilorin, Kwara State at 16 and repeatedly abusing her sexually.

The claim led to protests at the locations of the church in Abuja and Lagos and a formal complaint to the police by Busola.

Some other women have come out to make similar allegations against the pastor.

Though he said he had stepped down from the leadership of the church as demanded by the protesters, Fatoyinbo hired Daddy Freeze to interview him and provide him with an opportunity to clear the air on the allegations.

This prompted a message from Ekeke to Daddy Freeze, which reads: “Daddyfreeze, we will like to get your response on reports that you’ll be granting an interview to Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo soon as part of a series of plans he has outlined, with the aim of controlling the narrative on the COZA scandal. Regards. Ynaija.”

Daddy Freeze, who has confirmed that the interview will be holding, responded with a long treatise, in which he advised Ekeke to stop taking sides in the matter.

It reads: “Note… they said “Aim of controlling the narrative”

And where did they get this from?

From the very first video I did on this issue, I made it clear that my platform was available to both parties in the spirit of truth and fairness as the scripture teacher that I pride myself to be and brandish with boldness on the bio of all my social media accounts.
John 7:24
James 2:1
James 2:9
Deuteronomy 1:17

“Also I personally find the line ‘controlling the narrative’ somewhat mischievous, especially when it is coming from what is supposed to be a world class media house. Which in my opinion should moreso concern itself with having an ‘equitable narrative.’

I do not condone rape or abuse of religious office in any way or form and agree that when an activity seems to raise threats of harm to humans, precautionary measures should be taken even if some cause and effect relationships are not fully established scientifically.

This not withstanding we must judge righteous judgement.
John 7:24

In the court of law, both parties will be entitled to a proper defence team and the right to a fair hearing.

Since this matter is already being judged before the court of public opinion, I’d like to suggest that those rights be maintained.

“Look beneath the surface so you can judge correctly.”

“My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism.”
James 2:1 – NIV

“Do not show partiality in judging; hear both small and great alike. Do not be afraid of anyone, for judgment belongs to God. Bring me any case too hard for you, and I will hear it.”
Deuteronomy 1:17 – NIV
